Dillon Herald Volume 107 Number 1 dated Tuesday July 3, 2001 page 8A states:

Services for Colon Caulder were held Tuesday (today) at 3PM in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Caulder, 91, died Saturday in McLeod Regional Medical Center. Born in Marion County October 27, 1909, he was the son of the late Robert Caulder and Minnie Clark Caulder. He was a US Army Veteran and member of Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include his sister, Florence Hyatt of Florence, several nieces and nephews.
