John McKenzie

LAKE CITY (--) Services for John R. "Bob" McKenzie, 73, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2001 at Brockington Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Dillon. The family will have visitation from 7-9 this evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1927 Candy Lane, Surfside Beach, SC 29575.

Mr. McKenzie died Tuesday, June 19, 2001 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Born in Dillon, he was a son of the late Alford and Mary Jane McInnis McKenzie. He was a retired truck driver and salesman for Steve's Marine and a member of Paran Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Hardwick McKenzie of Lake City; son, John R. McKenzie Jr. of Orange Park, Fla; daughter, Mary Anne Pender of Burton; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
