Genevieve Wallace Moody

Genevieve Wallace Moody, 82, widow of Bishop Moody, died Saturday, October 6, at St Eugene Medical Center in Dillon, after an illness. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday from Cox-Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Saint Paul Methodist Church Cemetery in Little Rock.

Mrs Moody was born July 8, 1919 in Dillon County, a daughter of the late Andrew Wallace and Alice W Wallace. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mullins First Baptist Church. Also, Mrs Moody was a member of the TEL Sunday School class, the Senior Saints, the V I P., the Kathryn Grant Club, the Pioneer Club of CP&L and a member of the Flora Bunda Garden Club. Surviving are six sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Christine Pittman, Grace Wallace, Neva and Lida Moody, all of Dillon. Lila Pasek of Charlotte, NC., Johnnie Moody and Max Moody of Tallahassee, Florida, and Isabelle Moody of Columbia, several cousins and a number of nieces and nephews.
