Emma Pittman

Dillon---Services for Emma Gladys Snipes Pittman, 69, will be held at 5pm today at Cooper Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs Pittman died Saturday, September 19, 1992. Born in Dillon County, she was a daughter of the late D C and Mary Snipes. She was a retired sales clerk, member of East Dillon Baptist Church, and was a Sunday School teacher, a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was a former owner of Pitts 76 Station.

Surviving are daughters, Sheila Pittman of Fair Bluff, NC. and Ann Haynes of Jonesboro, Ga.; a sister, Katie Moody of Fork; brothers, JT and James Snipes, both of Dillon; and four grandchildren.
