Wills of slaveholders mention little more than a slave's name and sex but occasionally
family groups / relationships are specified. You'll also
want to review Estate records which will often list slaves in groups and provide
clues as to age and skills by "appraised value". The grouping in estate records is
interesting, and it may provide clues on family relationship.
