DIED    8-21-1951        
MASON AND SHRINER     
GRADUATED UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA 1909,  
ADMITTED TO SOUTH CAROLINA BAR 1924, STUDIED AT UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA,
PEABODY COLLEGE, 
UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO AND COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY. 
SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION FOR MARION COUNTY  1915-1937, 
MEMBER OF SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES 1949 UNTIL HIS DECEASE.
HIS CHIEF CONCERN WAS THE EDUCATION OF YOUTH.
