Know all men by these presents that I James Brown of Darlington District and
state aforesaid being lawful attorney at law for JEREMIAH BROWN and in
considering of the sum of $80 paid to me by ABIA DEW of Marion I have granted,
bargained, sold and released to the said ABIA DEW his heirs and assigns
forever all that plantation or tract of land containing 100 acres more or less
situated in the County of Liberty in the Marion District on the northwest side
of Little Pee Dee on Reedy Creek surveyed for Michale Blocker and conveyed to
Jeremiah brown Sr. bound tot he west by ABIA DEW's land to the north and east
by Nathan Gray and Joshua Avant's land. In witness I have hereunto set my hand
and fixed my seal this first day of October 1801 in the 15 year of American
Independence.
