GEORGETOWN DISTRICT.
Know all man by these present that I Charles Munnerlyn for and in consideration of
the natural love and affection which I have and bear to William C. Munnerlyn,
James K. Munnerlyn, Francis W. Munnerlyn and Charles Munnerlyn the minor children of
my beloved brother the late William Munnerlyn and also for the sum of five dollars
to me in hand paid by William C., James K., F.W. and C. Munnerlyn before the sealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. I the
said Charles Munnerlyn have given granted conveyed and confirm unto the said W.C.,
J.K., F.W., and C. Munnerlyn jointly a parcel or tract of land containing four
hundred and thirteen and half acres more or less being part of a tract of land
originally granted to Hugh Thompson for five hundred acres more or less but
found by resurvey by John Dozier the 21st October 1788 to contain one thousand
five hundred and 30 acres. Situated in Marion District on the North East side
of Great PeeDee River in Moore's Glain bounded North East by land belonging to
said minors formerly owned by their Father the said William Munnerlyn being a
part of the said original survey. North West by vacant land at the time of the
original survey and South Westward on Catfish Creek and Henry Davis' land which
is also part of the original survey and has such shapes and marks as are represented
by a platt thereof certified by Josiah Lewis deputy surveyor the 21st February 1807.
Together with all and singular the rights members and hereditaments thereunto
belonging. To have and to hold the said tract of four hundred and 15 acres more
or less unto the said W.C., J.K., F.W., and C. Munnerlyn their heirs executor and
assign forever and I the said Charles Munnerlyn do hereby bind myself and each
and every of my heirs and every person whomsoever ex or administrator as assign
forever to covenant and defend all and singular the said premises unto the said
W.C., J.K., F.W., and C. Munnerlyn their heirs and assign forever against myself
and heirs and every person whatever laying any lawful right title or claim thereunto
or any part thereof. In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal
this the 31st day of December 1831 and of the Independance of the United States of
America the 56th.
