[Notation by W. J. Prejean, transcriber:
1) There is no dower release by a wife. Perhaps it was not required or may
indicate John Chisholm was not married at the time this deed was executed.
The 1800 Liberty Co., SC census for John Chislom has 1 male 26/45 and 1 slave.
2) Original purchase of this land by John Chisholm would be recorded in
another district as Marion (Liberty) was not formed until 1798 and deed records
start in 1800. County was formed out of Georgetown district.]
