and District of Marion
Know all men by these
presents that I
Frederick Heartsfield of the above State and District in consider=
ation of the sum of thrity dollars paid by Michal Davis of
the above named State and district the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have bargained sold and delivered
and by these presents do bargain sell and deliver unto the said
Michal Davis a certain peace or parcel of land containing
One hundred acres more or less situated in the above District
on the West side of Crouchlow Bay bounded by the aforesaid
Michael Davis Jacob Grice and runs into Crouchlow Bay
To have and to hold all and singular the above mentioned
land and premises with all and singular the rights members
hereditaments and appurtenances to the said land and
premises belonging or in anywise incident or appertain=
ing to the said Michael Davis his hers and assigns forever
and I the said Frederick Heartsfield do bind myself my heirs
Executors Administrators and assigns to warrant and defend
the above land and premises to said Michal Davis his
and assigns against the laful claim or demand of any
person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this 23rd day of October 1816
