issioner of Locations for Marion District I have
admeasured & laid out unto Thomas Phillips
a tract of two hundred & Eighty acresw of Land in 
Said District on the NE Side of Great Pee Dee River
on the E Side of Catfish on Bennets Swamp Bound
ed by a line running SW & SE by John Davis Land all
other Parts by Thomas Phillips Land & hat such form
& marks as the above platt represents.
     Surveyed 11th August 1809
     Henry C. Legett   D. Sur.
     Entered Location Office August 14th 1809
