Feb 9, 1858 issue:
Married on Thursday evening, the 4th inst., by Rev. D. E. Frierson, Capt. J. Abney of Edgefield District to Miss Susan M. MILLER of Marion.

Married on the 4th inst., by Rev. M. St. Clair, Mr. D. P. McNair to Miss C. J. ALFORD, all of Robeson county, NC.

Married on the 4th inst., by Rev. J. C. Huggins, Mr. D. D. McDUFFIE to Miss Penelope Adelia Ford, all of this District.

Feb 16, 1858 issue:
Cornelia Graham, daughter of Mr. C. and Mrs. R. Graham, died on Monday morning, the 8th of February. Little Cornelia was only 3 years and __ months old. (Feb 16, 1858)

Feb 23, 1858 issue:
Married on the 8th inst., by Elias B. Ford, Esqs, Mr. J. P. BARNES of Robeson county, NC, to Miss Martha LOVETT of this District.

March 2, 1858 issue:
Married on the 20th ult. by E.B. Ford, Esq., Elijah BIRD to Mrs. Mary HILL, all of North Carolina.
Married on the 25th ult., by Rev. David Legette, Mr. James H. GIBSON to Miss Mary M. DAVIS, all of this District.

Volume 7 Number 11 Tuesday July 6, 1858:
NOTICE:
HOFWYL ACADEMY - The second session of this institution will commence on Thursday 15th July next, under the superintendence of our most excellent teacher, Mr. W. J. McKERRALL. A few advanced scholars will be received. Board can be had in the vicinity at $8 per month, including washing.

Volume 7 Number 13 Tuesday July 20, 1858:
Died on July 14, 1858, Mr. Robert HUSSEY, of the District, aged about 58 yrs.

Volume 7 Number 15 Tuesday August 3, 1858:
Died on July 3, 1858 Mrs. Mary A. MCMILLAN, of Marion Village, wife of Major Sidney E. MCMILLAN, daughter of David PALMER; in the 22nd year of her age. Infant son also survives.

Volume 7 Number 17 Tuesday August 17, 1858:
Married on the 10th inst., by Rev. H. Moody, Mr. Ithames James GADDY to Miss Adaline HYATT, all of this District.

Volume 7 Number 19 Tuesday August 31, 1858:
Died ROWELL, Mr. David - August 3, 1858 in Lauderdale county, TN, at residence of son-in-law, John P. RICE, of Marion District - in the 78th year of his age. Buried at St. Paul's Church, Tennessee.

Volume 7 Number 20 Tuesday September 7, 1858:
Married on the 10th ultimo, by Rev. C. D. ROWELL, Mr. Wm. PACE, of Marion, SC, to Miss E. S. BRADFORD, of Sumter, SC.

Died SWINSON, Renaldo - August 24, 1858 near Brinkley's Brunswick county, NC, son of A. J. and Elizabeth G. SWINSON - age 1 year, 9 months and 28 days. TODD, Capt. Wm - August 30, 1858 in All Saints Parish, SC, age 83 years, 1 month and 16 days.

Married on the 19th ult., by Rev. Mr. McQUORQUODALE, Maj. B. F. GIBSON to Miss Connie McCLENAGHAN, daughter of Rev. H. MCLENAGHAN, all of this place.

Married on the 14th ult., by the Rev. C. D. ROWELL, Mr. Thomas D. KEITH, of Timmonsville, to Miss Rebecca PALMER, of Marion District, S.C.

Died Mr. Timothy GRIFFIN, September 26, 1858 of Robeson Co., N.C. about 50 years of age.

Volume 7 Number 31 Tuesday November 23, 1858:
Married on the 10th inst., by Rev. C. D. ROWELL, Mr. W. E. HEWITT, of Darlington District, to Miss S. E. TAYLOR, of Marion District.

Died FULMER, Mrs. Mary S. - November 8, 1858 in Washington City - consort of George FULMER - in the 60th year of her age.

Volume 7 Number 33 Tuesday December 7, 1858:

Died December 1, 1858 at Friendfield, Marion District, Miss Sarah Hamilton, daughter of William D. and Susannah B. MCGEE. Aged 18 years and 3 months.

Died at Oak Hill, Marion District on the morning of the 27th Nov 1858, Sarah Amelia ANDREWS, daughter of Francis B. and Mary C. ANDREWS, aged 6 months and 19 days.

Volume 7 Number 36 Tuesday December 28, 1858:
Married on the 8th of December, by Rev. A. MCQUORQUODALE, Mr. H. H. MCLENAGHAN to Miss A. L. JAMES, all of this District.
