Mr. Liston C. WHEELER married Miss Carrie BOYD on Oct. 7. Bride is daughter of Rev. J. M. BOYD.

Bessie, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory COLLINS of Fair Bluff, NC died Oct. 8 - age 2 years 11 months and 15 days. Buried at Fair Bluffs Cemetery.

October 21, 1885 - Wednesday

Rev. E. G. SMITH to marry Miss Sallie SINGLETARY on Oct. 21.

Died at Smith’s Mills, S.C. on Oct. 3, Mrs. E. A. Turbeville, at age 47.

Geo. E. WATSON, son of Mr. I. H. WATSON, died in Milledgeville, GA last Friday.

Mr. Joseph B. HAYES, father of Mr. T. B. HAYES, died Nov. 10 at the age of 85. His wife, Mrs. Ann HAYES, died Oct. 31. They were married Nov. 20, 1823. Survived by 7 children.

Lot B. ROGERS, formerly of Marion Co., died at his residence near Georgetown, TX on Dec. 10, aged 70 years, 3 months and 10 days. Born in Marion Co., SC. on Aug. 1, 1815.

Married last Thursday in Bennettsville, Mr. D. C. WHITE and Miss Lena, daughter of Mr. T. M. BOLTON.

Mr. Jesse MILLER, aged 73, died last Wednesday.

Pearce, son of Mr. Ed DeBERRY, aged about 10 years, died Dec. 14, at Darlington C.H.
