H J Floyd a Prominent Farmer, Shot by Jos Elliott.Special to the State.
Nichols, Jan 2---Mr H J Floyd, a prominent farmer living about four miles from here in Horry County, was shot and killed this afternoon about 2 o'clock by Joseph Elliott. From the meagre account received here it seems that Floyd, who was drinking, was the aggressor.B S L
