Bennett F Herring, Sr

Mullins---Bennett Floyd Herring, Sr., 70, died Friday.

Born in Marion County, he was a son of Mrs Dannie Cook Herring and the late Franklin Herring. He was a retired insurance agent, a Mason, and a member of Mullins First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs Anna Margaret Collins Herring; sons, Bennett F Herring, Jr., of Conway, Perry Herring of Marion, and Berry Herring of Mullins; his mother; and sisters, Mrs May Sawyer of Mullins and Mrs Nellie Hayes of Mullins.

Services will be held at 3pm today at Meares Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Mayer's Cemetery of Mullins.

Memorials may be made to the Mullins First Baptist Church building fund.
