Ralph C Herring

Marion--Ralph Clifton Herring, 65, son of the late Wade H and Julia Thompson Herring, died Thursday.

Surviving are his widow, Miss Bell Bryant; two daughters, Mrs Bruce Brown of Marion and Mrs Louie Pittman, Jr of Marion; one son, Ralph Carlton Herring of Wilmington, NC; one brother, Leroy C Herring of Kinston, NC; and three sisters, Mrs J R Richardson, Jacksonville, Mrs Wilson W Snipes of Marion and Mrs E A Beason, Jr of Marion.

Mr Herring was a lifelong resident of Marion County and a member of the grange. Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm Saturday at Spring Branch Methodist Church.
