Gillie H. Hughes, 74, died Tuesday January 28, 1975 Funeral services conducted in Reedy Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carolyn G. Hughes of the home; two step daughters, Mrs. Betty Turbeville of Cheraw and Mrs. Margaret Martin of Mullins, two brothers, Wilmon Hughes and George Hughes both of Orangeburg, two sisters, Mrs. Mionnie Kettrell and Mrs. Annie Laurie Edwards both of Orangeburg and three grandchildren.
