Mrs L B Ammons, Sr

Marion—Mrs Lena Odom Ammons, 64, wife of L B Ammons, Sr., died Monday in a Marion hospital after a short illness.

Born in Marion County, she was a daughter of the late Ham and Susie Richardson Odom.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, George Ammons of Monterey, Calif., and L B Ammons, Jr; a daughter, Mrs Sherwood James; a brother, Dock Odom; and two sisters, Mrs Lawrence A Smith and Mrs A D Ammons, all of Marion; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be 2pm today at Smith Brothers Funeral Home with burial in Devotion Gardens Cemetery.
