Mrs Louise R Collins

Marion March 25---Mrs Louise R Collins, an aged lady who has resided many years in the home of her granddaughter, Mrs John Wilcox, died today in Mullins while on a visit to her sick daughter, Mrs Smith. Mrs Collins, whose maiden name was Dever, was a native of Texas and was a lady of high character, developed and fortified by the perils of the Texas revolution in which her father took an active part. She married Mr Sidney E Collins, who was born in Alabama and removed with his family to this county shortly after the war. He died upwards of 12 [?hard to read--cgk] years ago.
