Archie Cook, 66, Dies in Arizona

Conway---Word has been received here that Archie B Cook, 66, died at 8am Tuesday in Phoenix, Arizona after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday from the Paradise chapel in Phoenix.

Mr Cook was born in Marion County, son of the late William A and Jessie Jordan Cook of Horry County. He moved to Arizona in 1955.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs Edna White Cook; two sons, Edwin Cook of Norfolk, Va and Jack Cook of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs Hattie Lee of Aynor and Mrs Nell Hamilton of Mullins; and six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
