Patsy Hooks
Mullins---Patsy Suzette Hooks, 14, daughter of Mrs C E Connely and the late Troy L Hooks, Jr., died of a heart attack Sunday at the home of her grandmother, Mrs D R Ford of the Floyd Community of Horry County.
Funeral services will be held at 3:15 pm Tuesday from the Floyds Methodist Church by the Rev Eugene Holmes, assisted by the Rev W E Walker. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Nichols.
Born in Mullins, Patsy was the daughter of Mrs Sarah Ford Connely and the late Troy L Hooks, Jr. She was a member of the Floyds Methodist Church and was a student at Floyds High School.
Survivors include her mother; her step-father, C E Connely; maternal grandmother, Mrs D R Ford; paternal grandmother, Mrs T L Hooks, Sr., all of Nichols; two brothers, Chris and T L Hooks, III., of Nichols, two step-brothers, Jimmy Connely of Spartanburg and Eugene Connely of Nichols; one half-sister, Jenny Connely of Nichols and one step-sister, Mrs P L Elvington Jr., of Fair Bluff, NC.
