Miss Johnson Of Marion Dies.
Marion--Miss Leila Glover Johnson, 90, past director of the University of South Carolina School of Social Work, died Sunday at Granville Hospital in Oxford, NC.
Born in Marion, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Louise Strother Johnson. She attended Flora McDonald College, Columbia University and the University of Chicago.
She was a past director of the Public Assistance Program for South Carolina and past president of the South Carolina League of Women Voters.
Surviving are a niece, Mrs Betty Davis of Oxford.
Services will be 1pm Tuesday at Old Town Cemetery.
Smith Brothers Funeral Home is in charge.
