Julius L Mace

Centenary---Julius LeRoy Mace, a retired farmer, died Tuesday in a Conway nursing home after a long illness.

He was a son of the late Thaddius Lunn and Eugenia Gasque Mace of Marion County.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs Irene LeGette Mace of Centenary; two daughters, Mrs Wardlaw E (Betty) Skinner Jr of Mount Pleasant and Mrs A Wayne Floyd of Centenary; two sons, J L Mace, Jr of Columbia and William L Mace of Johnsonville; a brother, Sam Mace of Florence; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Plans will be announced by Smith Brothers Funeral Home of Marion.

Services will be 4pm Thursday at the Centenary Baptist Church with burial in Centenary Methodist Churchyard.

Smith Brothers Funeral Home of Marion is in charge.
