J K Martin, Radio Station Manager, Dies

Marion--Joseph King Martin, 71, president and general manager of radio station WDSC in Dillon, died Monday in Duke University Hospital after a short illness.

Born in Westminster, he was a son of the late Garnett M and Rosa King Martin.

He was president and general manager of WDSC for 30 years and a member of the Cypress Creek River Club.

Services will be 11 am Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Smith Brothers Funeral Home is in charge.
