Jeter D Sawyer
Fork---Jeter D (Tom) Sawyer, 54, died in a Mullins Hospital Thursday.
Mr Sawyer, a farmer, was born in Marion County, son of Jack and Lou Turner Sawyer. He was married to Elma Cooke Sawyer.
Surviving are his widow,; six sons, Thomas, Eugene, James, J C, Robert and Neal of Fork; four daughters, Mrs Mildred Hyatt and Mrs Boyd Leon Davis of Mullins, Mrs Betty Lou Hayes of Florence, and Mrs Phyllis Rogers of Mullins; one sister, Miss Lula Mae Sawyer of Columbia; and two brothers, Woodrow and Lanneau Sawyer of Mullins.
Services will be at 4pm Saturday at Cox Collins Funeral Home.
