Olin W Snipes
Marion---Olin W Snipes, 79, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Born in Marion County, he was a son of the late Ned and Joanne Porter Snipes.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Mamie M Snipes of the home; three daughters, Mrs Worth Fowler of Marion, Mrs Ira Dimmery of Columbia, and Mrs Houston Church of St Paul, NC; five sons, Harold E and Wayne Snipes of Columbia, Cecil Snipes of Lumberton, NC, Carol Snipes of Marion, and Olin W Snipes, Jr of Pine Level, NC; and a brother, S R Snipes of Richmond, Va.
Services will be at 11am today in Smith Brothers Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
