WILL OF
BENNET ALLEN
State of South Carolina ) Be it Known that I Bennet Allen Esquire of this
Marion County ) District being in an ill and low State of health
yet sound in Mind and memory Knowing it is appointed of & By God for all
mankind once to die and after death to Judgement I this day in presence of
these witnefses make this my last will and testament as to my worldly Goods
renouncing all others Viz 1st I give and bequeath and lend to my
wife Comfort All my estate real and personal hers only as a life Estate and
at and After her death on her part of the Estate which came by and with her
to decend to the lawful heirs of my wife and the real and personal property
of which came by my Father and my industry since Marriage to be to the benefit
of my lawful heirs to my brothers Sisters & Father and to the Children of my
deceased brothers say Matthew & Elias children and as to the perisable to be
the sole use and benefit of my wife Comfort and at after death on her part as
before observed to be disposed of as above directed And I further appoint
Shadrack Allen and Stephen Grantham my Executors to this my last will and
Testament Given under my hand and Seal this 31st day of
