WILLIAM BALEY

Marion District ) In the name of God Amen I William Baley of the
State and District aforesaid do make and ordain this to be my last will
and Testament in manner and form following.
First it is my Will and Desire that all of my Just debts be paid out of
my personal Property that which my Wife can best Spare.
Also I Lend unto my Son Jonas Baley during the term of his Natural life
the one half of my Lands the part lent to my Son being the upper part
of Saidland joining William Bethea Sen land and at his death it shall be
divided betwen his Lawful Heirs lawfully begotten of his Body --
but Should he leave no heirs lawfully begotten of his body at the time
of his Death then and in that Case I Give all of the above mentioned land
to my Five Youngest Children Share and Share alike to them there heirs
and afsigns forever Also I Give to my Son Jonas Baley one Feather bed and
furniture Together with my Shot gun to him his heirs and afsigns forever.
Also I lend unto my Wife Patience Baley during her life time or Widowhood
the ballance of my Land Together with all of my personal property that my
be remaing after my Just debts be paid. and at her death or marriage to
be Equally Divided betwen my Five Youngest children Share and share alike
to them their Heirs and afsigns forever.
Also I Give to my Sons Coulson Baley James Baley and my Daughter Sarah
Dees one Dollar Each to be paid by Executrix I do Hereby Constitute and
appoint my Wife Patience Bale Sole Executrix of this my last will and tes-
tament in witnefs whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal
this the 3rd day of April 1838
