WILL OF
JAMES C. BELLUNE
In the name of God Amen
I James C Bellune of south Carolina Marion District, do make
and hereby constitute this my last Will and Testament, vz. I give and
bequeathe unto my beloved wife Cafsandra. K. Bellune four Negroes vz. Rose
and her three Children George Sam and Nancy. and my barush and too grey
Horses, Item, I bequeathe to my said wife and four children James C. Ju-
venta Anne Zilpha Leonora and William H, Jointley all the proffits and in-
come arising from my Lands negroes and Money bearing Interest untile my son
James C. is twenty one years of age, at which time I direct and require.
of my Executors hereafter named to apportion or cause to be apportioned unto
my said son James C. the one fourth part of my Personal Estate not including
any part of that first portion left to my wife, in case any of my children
shoud die before the said division, then and in that case the apportionment
to be made according to the number of surviving children. so that each Child
shall have an equal portion, and in case my son James C. shoud depart this
life before he is twenty one years, of age. The Joint tennancy as above di-
rected to be continued untill the next surviving child shou'd attain the
age of twenty one years or be married, and in that case my personal Estate
to be divided in the same manner as in the first Case directed to be and
so on untill each Child shall have received his or her equal portion of my
personal Estate When the Joint Interest shall have been desolved by each
child having recieved his or her portion according to the intent and mean-
ingof this Instrument of writing my will and desire is that my wife Continue
to injoy the use of my lands during her life, and after her decease to be
equaly divided between my Children, In case the income of my Estate shou'd
not be suffic'ent to support and Educate my Children, in that Case I autho-
rise my Executors to draw from the principal so much as will be necefsary to
meet the deficiency, I do hereby Constitute and appoint Addifson L Scarbor-
ough, Executor and my beloved wife Executrix of this my last will and Tes-
tament Witnefs my hand and seal this 12th day of December one thousand

of James C. Bellune did this day appear before me and renounce and re-
linquished his right to Executorship under the last will and testament
of James C. Bellune, and the said A. L. Scarborough never having quali-
