WILL OF JUDITH COXE

In the Name of God Amen I Judith Coxe of Marion District and State of South
Carolina widow of Samuel Coxe being far advanced in age weak in Body but of
perfect Mind & Memory thanks be Given Unto God Calling to mind the Mortality
of my body and Knowing that it is appointed fer Me once to Die, do make and
Ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say )


Principally and first of all I Give and recomend my Soul into the hands of
the Almighty God that gave it and My body I recomend unto the Earth to be
buried in a decent Christian burial at the Discretion of my Executors.
Nothing doubting but at the General Resurection I shall receive the same
again by the Mighty Power of God.  And as Touching such.  world Goods
wherewith it hath pleased God to Blefs me with in this life I Give devise
and dispose of the in the following Manner and form,  I Give and bequeath
unto Samuel Colcute Son of Christopher Colcute one Negroe fellow Named
Brafs, also one Negroe fellow Named Bijah unto the lawful begotten heirs of
his Body forever but Should the said Samuel Colcute die leaving no ifsue
then the said Negroe fellows Brafs and Bijah to be Equally divided Among the
Children.  of Anna Deracken And I do hereby Nominate Constitute and appoint
my worthy friends Thomas Godbold Senr and Stephen Godbold executors to this
my last Will and Testament Revoking and Making Void all former Wills and
Testaments at any time heretofore by me made and I do declare this to be my
last Will and Testament.  In Witnefs whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and
Seal this first day of January Eighteen hundred & twenty & forty fifth year
of American Independence
