WILL OF
MALAKIAH DEES
In the name of God Amen. I Malakiah Dees of the State of South Carolina,
Marion District, being frail in bodyly health but of sound and disposing
mind and memory, thanks to Almighty God for the same, do make and con-
stitute this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following--
First,after my decease, I request my body to be decently buried and all my
Just debts to be paid. Item. I give and bequeath unto my son Malakiah Dees
all the property I may died pofsefsed of both real and personal, to him, his
heirs and afsigns forever. I neverthelefs authorise and empower my Execu-
tors herein after named to dispose of any, or all of my said estate both
real and personal, either at private or publick sale, as to them may seem
expedient- and the proceeds arising therefrom to be used for the purpose
of Schooling and supporting my said Son, so far as may be required, and
the balance to be kept at Interest untill my said Son shall become of age
And lastly. I do nominate constitute and appoint my three friends, John
Gregg, Samuel E Wilson, and Christopher Bailey, Executors of this my last
will and testament, and I do hereby revoke, disannull, and make void all
other wills by me heretofore made, and acknowledge this and no other to be
my last will and testament, In witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this thirty first day of January in the year of our Lord one thou-
sand eight hundred and thirty two and fifty sixth year of American Inde-
pendence--
