Roll consists of 19 enclosures, folded, many with information 
on the outside of the fold. Some documents here from estate 
of David's son, Needham Brewer. Other documents re estate
of Needham Brewer are found in estate roll of William Rozier.


          ENCLOSURE #1: Citation to administer the estate of  David Brewer
          desceased,  late of Little Pee Dee,  to Asa Brewer on
          9 Sep 1826, by Edward B. Wheeler, Ordy, Marion District, SC.


          ENCLOSURE #2: Citation to administer the estate of Needham
          Brewer, late of this District decsd, to William Price, Senr,
          on 17 Apr 1827, by Edward B. Wheeler, Ordinary, Marion District SC.


          ENCLOSURE #3: Administration Bond on the estate of David Brewer,
          desceased, Asa Brewer, adminr, for $1000.

          ENCLOSURE #11: Summons to Commissioners; 13 Nov 1826; To Neal
          Carmichael, Esqr., Benjamin Hayes, & Joseph Hayes (S)enr;
          "You are hereby required, with a surveyor if necessary to go upon
          the lands belonging to the estate of David Brewer Decsd - and to
          divide the same between the said Parties in interest according to
          their interests respectively. that is to say allotting to Mary
          Brewer the widow of the Deceased one third, and the remaining two
          thirds Equally between the Lawful children of the Decsd always
          bearing in mind that the children of a deceased parent represents
          their parents interest - and are Entitled to the same share to be
          divided among them, equally as their parent would have if living
          -. and that you make a return to me on oath"

          ENCLOSURE #12: Commissioners' report; to E.B.Wheeler Ordinary of
          Marion District; ...we have met & surveyed the lands belonging to
          the Estate of David Brewer...& find...that said lands cannot be
          equally divided without injury to some of the heirs...7 Dec 1826;

          original signed by heirs): Mr. E.B.Wheeler, Sir we now by these
          lines make known to you that we assent to your ordering a sale on

          Brewer recorded in Book A. Page 1; Order for sale.
          ...whereas Asa Brewer. Admr of
          said Estate and Mary Brewer widow of the said Desd & Elizabeth
          Brewer daughter of the said David Desd having Petitioned me for a
          Summons to divide...& whereas the Commissioners...having duly
          returned, the impossibility of affecting an Equal
          division...therefore ordered that the sheriff...do advertise &
          sell on some regular sale day at Marion Court House, all the
          above mentioned Land & premises...1 Jan 1827; signed, Edward

          me for orders to sell a TarKill (sic) - belonging to the  estate
          of David Brewer Decsd - Do grant as follows. You the said Asa
          Brewer are hereby authori(zed) to advertise and sell, on the 15th
          Inst- on the land lately sold as the property of the said D.
          Brewer Desd- the said TarKill, as the TarKill aforesaid- ...also
