WILL OF
JOB FOXWORTH
In the Name of God Amen I Job Foxworth of Marion District and
State of South Carolina Being in perfect mind and Memory but
Calling to my Recollection that it is appointed for all men
Once to Die do make and Constitue this my Last will and tes-
tament in the following manner first I Give my soul to God
who Gave it me and my Body to be Buried in a Christian Manner
at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter mentioned and as
to What worldly Goods it hath pleased God to Blefs me with I
will and Bequeath in the following manner that is to say af-
ter paying my Just Debts and Funeral Charges I Give unto my
Beloved wife Mary Foxworth During her Natural life or Widow-
hood as followeth the plantation or track of Land on which
I now live with all my Stock of Every kind Belonging to said
plantation after Reserveing Three Cows and Calves apeace for
my two Children that is-Now Single Henry Foxworth and Judy
Foxworth also one other plantation on the Other Side of Cat-
fish Creek whereon my Negro fellow Friday now liveth with my
Stock of Every kind Belonging to Said plantation also Nine
Negros Named Friday and Vilet Lava Jim & Frank marshel and
Harry Jinney and Chance together with all my household Fur-
niture and plantation tolls with all the Ready-money that I
may have at my Desease also all the money that may be Due
to me at my Dissease by notes Bonds or accom/tis after Reser-
veing two feather Beds and Furniture one for my son Henry
Foxworth and one for my Daught Judy Foxworth it Being in full
of her portion of my Estate Itim I give and bequeath unto my
son Apsolum Foxworth all that plantation or track of Land
Land Lying on the N..E Side of Catfish with all the land on
that side of said Creek which I have in pofsefsion whereon
my Negro fellow Friday now lives Last Given and bequeathed
to my wife to Be in Faill prfsifsion of sait plantation at
my wifes Deseace also all the stock of Every Kind Belonging
to Said plantation also One Negro man Named Friday & one

Negro man Named Frank to Be in full pofsefsion of said Negros
At my wifes Desease also I have Delivd two Negros to said
Son Apsolum by the hand before witnefs Named thus Jethro &
Tempa It is my will that the Delivery Shall Stand good in
Law them their Ifsue and increafs to him and to his heirs
for Ever Itim I Give and Bequeath unto my son-Henry Foxworth
three Cows and Calves with one Feather bed and Furniture to
Be in pofsefsion of at my Desease also one half of my stock
of Every Knid also one half of my household Goods and Fur-
niture also One half of my plantation tools. To be in pofsef-
sion of at my wife Desease also I have Delivered also I have
Deliverd Seven Negroes by the hand of my said son Henry be-
Fore witnefs and it is my will that the Gift Shall Stand Good
In Law the Negros Give is jim and Calander Tom & Jack Major
& Sall & Sam. as the last part of his portion Itim I give and
Bequeath unto my Son Job Foxworth the plantation Whereon I
now live With all the Lands joining to Said plantation on
this side of of Catfish Creek which I am in pofsefsion of
also one half of my stock of Every Kind also one half of
my house hold Goods and Furniture with one half of my plan-
tation Tools that may be left on said plantation at my wife
Desease to Be in full pofsefsion of at my wife Death also I
Have Delivd my Said Son Job seven Negroes by the hand before
Witnefs Named Lewa & Hannah Harry Hector & Cain Vilet & Jeth-
ro it is my will that the Gift Shall Stand Good in Law as
the Last part of his portion Itim I Give to my Daughter Re-
baka Jones two Negroes-Named Lyd and Ben being Delivd by the
hand before witnefs to her and to the Lawfull heirs of her
Body for Ever Itim I Give to my Daughter pemmy middleton one
Shilling Streling to be paid her at my Defease or upon De-
mand as the Last part of her portion Itim I have Given and
Delivd by the Hand to my Daughter mary Anderson one Negro
Boy Named Orison and it is my will that the Gift Shall Stand
Good in Law Itim I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Delily

Legget One Shilling Sterling to be paid her at my Desease or
upon Demand-as the Last part of her portion Itim I Give to
my Daughter Levicey Smith one Hundred Dollars worth to be
paid of Stock to be paid her at my wife Desease out of the
Stock that may be left on the plantation whereon I now live
as the Last part of her portion Itim I Have Delivd to my
Daughter Judy Foxworth three Negros by the hand before wit-
nefs Named Needy Nancy & Lucy and it is my will that the
Gift Shall Stand Good in Law also three Cows and Calves
with One feather Bed and Furniture to be in pofsefsion of at
my Desease as the Last part of her portion Itim I Give and
bequeath unto my two Grand Children Abigal and Martha God-
Bold One Negro Girl apiece Lotte I Give and bequeath unto
Abigal Godbold Isbel I give and Bequeath unto Martha God-
bold in full of their Mother portion Itim I Give and be-
queath unto my three Children Named Apsolum Foxworth Rebecka
Jones and mary Anderson five Negros Named thus Marshel Chance
& Jenney Vilet & Meriah the aforesaid five Negros to be im-
mediately Equelly Devided Between my three Children at my
wifes Desease as the Last part of their portion it is my
will that the Ready money or Notes Bonds or accompts that
my wife may Have in her pofsefsion that she may at her De-
fsease Give it to Whom She thinks proper or Despose of it
as She pleaseth and I Do hereby appoint my Beloved wife mary
Foxworth Executrix and my son Job Foxworth and James Johnson
Executors to this my last will and Testament-Revokeing all
Other wills and Confirming this Only in witnefs Whereof I
Have hereunto Set my hand and seal this 21as Day of July one

Buying items at the Estate Sale was a David Jones, possibly husband
of the daughter listed ad Rebeka Jones.
Also buying items at the sale was Clabourn Anderson, possibly the
husband of daughter named Mary Anderson.
