                        WILL OF 

                     ARTHUR HERRING

State of South Carolina)  In the name of God Amen I Arthur Herrin of the 
                       )
Marion District        )  State and Destrict aforesaid being weak in body

but of Sound disposeing mind and memory do make and declare this my last 

will and testament in manner and form following

First after My Just Debts is paid out of my Estate I give to my wife Rachel

Herrin for and during the term of her natural Life all my property both 

real and personal and at her diath I give to my Two daughters Lidda Jackson

& Rachel Brigman Ten Dollars each of them to be paid out of my Estate at the 

death of my wife Rachel Herrin by my son Daniel Herrin and all my Real Es-

tate I give to my son Daniel Herrin to him his hirs and afsigns forever.  

And the balance of my property of a personal nature that may be remaining

at the death of my wife Rachel Herrin I give to All my children Stephen Her-

rin Arthur W. Herrin Daniel Herrin Lidda Jackson Pheby Jackson Nancy Jackson

Rachel Brigman and Suckey Humbleton         it is allso my will that my three

Grandchildren Martha Herrin Rubin Jackson and Clary Jackson have thre mothers

part out of my personal Estate at the death of my wife Rachel Herrin and 

I do hire by appoint my Son Daniel Herrin Sole Exiture of this my last wile

and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made In witnefs hereof

I have hereunto Set my hand and seal this the Twenty fifth day of November 

one Thousand Eight Hundred and forty fore  Signed Sealed published and Declared

by the above named Arther Herrin to be his last will and Testament in the 

presence of us Who has hereunto Subscribed our names as witnefses in the 

presence of the Testator
