WILL OF
fREDERICK Jones
In the name of God Amen I Fredrick Jones of Marion District
State of South Carolina being in perfect health of Body and
of perfect mind and memory--thanks be given unto God Calling
unto mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is
Appointed for all men Once to die do make and ordain this my
last Will and Testment that is to say Principally and first
of All I give and recommend My Soul in to the hand of Al-
mighty God that Gave it And my Body I recommend to the earth
to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of
my Executors nothing doubting but at the General resurrection
I Shall receive the Same again by the Mighty power of God and/as
tuching Such worldly Estate where with it has been pleased God
to blefs me in this life I give demise and dispose of the same
in the following manner and form - - - - -
First I give And bequeath to Nancy my dearly beloved wife dur-
ing hir natural life the Use of the Plantation where I now
reside And four negroes one man named Cuff one Girl named
Hanah & Two Boys Minca and Bill I Also Give to my beloved Wife
one Feather Bed & Ferniture Two Mars three Cows And Calves the
one half of my Stock of hogs five head of Sheep And one third
of my housewhold And Kitchen Ferniture - - - - - - - - -
Also I Give to my well beloved daughter Mary Lane Two Feather
Beds Stock of Cattle Sheep and hogs which She has in pofsefsion
and at the deceas of My beloved wife a negroe Girl named Hanah- -
Also I Give to my well beloved daughter Prudance Stephenson the
Stock of Cattle And Sheep that has ben delivered to hir &
Two Feather Beds & Ferniture that is in hir pofsefsion and
at the deceas of My beloved Wife a negroe Boy named Minca - - -
Also I Give to my well beloved Son Briant Jones on Feather
Bed and Ferniture which he has in pofsefsion And at the deceas
of my beloved Wife one negroe Boy named Bille
Also I Give to my well beloved daughter Marthea Jones one Negroe
Boy named Buff one Feather Bed and Ferniture which she has in

Also I Give to my will beloved daughter Charity Jones one
Negroe Woman named Judah and hir Girl Child named Tiller one
Feather Bed & Ferniture and Six head of Sheep and the Stock
of Cattle Claimed by hir & one half of the gees - - - - -
Also I Give to my will beloved daughter Anna Jones one Negroe
Woman named Mary and hir Boy Child named Tom one Feather Bed
and Furniture And the Stock of Cattle Claimed by hir and
one half of the gees
Also I Give to My well beloved Son Robert Jones one negroe
Boy named Bob one Tract of Land Containing three hundred and
fifty acres Situate on the N. W. prong of the big Bay of the
Myrtle Spring one Feather Bed and ferniture one Puter Dish
and half Dz plates--- Also I Give to my well beloved Son Step-
hen Jones Two Tracts of Land Situate on the west side of Cat-
fish Containing in the whole Two hundred and nine acres Ori-
ginally Granted to me one negroe Boy named London and after
the deceas of My beloved Wife one negroe man named Cuff one
Cow And Calf one Puter Dish & half Dz plates Also I Give to
my well beloved Son---Thomas Jones one negroe Boy named Cooper
one Feather Bed & Ferniture one Puter Dish & half Dz plats And
after the deceas of my well beloved Wife the plantation where
I now reside Also I Give to my surviving heirs all and singular
the Property & Interest of Every discription that I may be pof-
sefsed of at the time of my deceas the property above mention-
ed Excepted to be equally devided Shere and Shere Alike
And I Constitue make And ordain My Two Sons Breant Jones and
Thomas Jones And James G Crawford My Executors of this my last
Will and Testament And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke
and disannul all and every other former Testament Wills Lega-
cies bequests And Executors by me in Any wise before named willed
and bequeathed ratifying and Cnfirming this And no Other to be
my last Will And Testament
