WILL OF FRANCIS McBRIDE
State of South Carolina ) In the name of God Amen I Francis McBride of the State of
Marion District ) South Carolina and the District of Marion being very Sick and weak
in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God calling to mind the mortality of
my body and Knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last
Will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into
the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent
Christian burial at the discretion of my Executor nothing doubting but at the General
Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God And as touching such
worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to blefs me in this life I give demise and dispose of
the same in the following manner and form
First I give all my estate both real and personal to the
lawful heirs of Philip and Martha McBride in Ireland Uster Province Omagh County near Diomore to
be equally divided Share and Share alike Also I constitute make and ordain my trusty friends
Thomas Harllee Tristram Bethea and Briant H bafs my Executors to this my last Will and testament
I now make a statement where all my property may be found One negro man Frank hired to B H Bafs
one negro woman hired to Ephraim L Henegan Three hundred acres of land where Daniel Morrison now
lives also One hundred acres of land near Three Creeks where Mrs Wilks now lives Also Six negros
in the State of Mifsifsippi in the pofsefsion of William Long Seven hundred Dollars worth of
Receipts in the hands of William Bethea Senr All the above stated property I desire
my Executors to sell to the best advantage and the moneys arising therefrom to be Applyd as
above directed to my friends in Ireland Revoking all other former wills do make and ordain this
to be my last Will and testament 7th day of April 1834 Signed Seale and acknowledged
