FLORA McKAY
State of South Carolina ) Know all personsby. these presents. that I
)
Marion District ) Flora McKay of the State and District aforesaid
being weak in body. but perfect in mind and Knowing that ale persons have
once to die I constitute and make this my last wile and testament and de-
siring that it may be received by ale as such. I most humbly commit my Soul
to God who gave it desiring his most. gracious acceptance of it through
the ale prevailing merits of his Son. Jesus Christ as he God liveth to make
Intercefs on for returning Penitence in this hope and Confidence I render
up my Soul with Comfort. praying the most Gracious Trinity One God to pre-
pare me for. the time of my difsolution, having these thoughts in mind. I
first dispose and bequeath. my Soul to God who gave it. and my body to the
dust from whence it Came I then dispos of my,Earthly Property (as follows).
In the first place I. wish ale my Just debts paid. Seccondly I give and be-
queath to my bloved Son John McKay One Negro Girl named Rose. I then give
unto my Grandson Gilbert Warren McKay. On Negro Negro Boy William. I then
give and bequeath into my Grand Daughter Flora Ann McKay One Hector McKay
Daughter. One negro Girl named Sarah. also Two Hundred Dolears in Cash. and
One bed and furniture I also Give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Flora
Ann McKay (John McKay.s Daughter) One bed and furniture.
I then give and bequeath unto My Daughter Jane Bethea Tw Dolears I then
Give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Flora Jane Bethea. One Bed and Fur-
niture I then give and bequeath unto my son Archie McKay Two Doloars. I then
give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Jane McKay. One Bed and
furniture I then give and bequeath unto my neise Barbara McAlister On fea-
ther Bed a Double Blanket and Two Cows & calves, My wile is then that ale
the Balance of my Property be Equally Dvided bethwan John McKay Jane Be-
thea Arche McKay & Flora Ann McKay (Hectors Daughter. and lastly I Constitute
and appoint my beloved Sons John McKay & Arche McKay Executors to this my
last wile and Testament.. In Witnefs whereof I hereunto set my hand and Seal
this 1st day of Oct in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight Hundrid &
thirty Two. & in the fifty Six & Seventh of the Independence of the United
