                      JOHN B. MCLEOD

In the name of God Amen.  I John B. McLeod of the District of Marion in the 
State of South Carolina--being weak in body but of Sound disposing mind 
memory and understanding do make this my last will and Testament
in maner and form following.  Imprimes - It is my will and desire that all
my Just debts be paid I therefore take the following resolution to Share 
my Estate which is to be my last wile Legal wile and Testament Item 1st My 
Estate to be divided into fifteen shares, and I bequeath my beloved wife
too shares of the Said Estate.  The. balance of my estate to be equally di-
vided between My old & young children.  In order to make an Eaqual division.
I wish the property which I hold to be sold so they may Make it Eaquel among
them.  Item 2nd I wish the track of land I bought of John McColl to be sold sep-
erate to Itself - Likewise the Mills Track and Mills and cotton Gin. with all
their furniture as far as water rises from time to time to be sold seperate 
Likewise I want the McNabb Track sold seperate as far as the high water Mark 
of the Mills  Likewise I wish all My Negroes My Cattle Horses Hogs & sheep My 
Blacksmith tools and my farming Utensil and all my carriages to be sold in 
such lots as My Executors see, as proper  I likewise bequeath ale My household
furniture & Kitchen furniture that is ale my beads and bead clothes to My be-
loved wife and Daughter -- Christian to be divided among themselves as they
think proper
Item, It is my will and desire that My Executors herein after named do col-
lect all the debts notes accounts Etc. due.  Item I gave devise & bequeath to 
my Execet fifteen dollars.  lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and ap-
point my Worthy Friend My beloved wife Mary & Archibald C., Sinclairs & Alex-
ander Campbell Executors of My last will and Testament Hereby Revoking and 
Declaring null & void ale other and former wills by me heretofore maid this 
is the fifth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hun-
dred & twenty nine
