Marion District ) In the name of God Amen I. Lewis McWhite of State and
District afforesaid being low in health, but of Sound mind and memory do
make, ordain and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form
as follows

1. I most humbly present my Soul to God who gave it and my body to the
earth from whence it Came

2 As to my worldly pofsefsions, I will and bequeath all that I pofsefs to
my loving Wife Mary A. McWhite, after first paying all my just and lawful
debts, to be used in manner and form as follows Viz - For Said wife Mary to
take and keep the said pofsefsions, Consisting of houses and lands Negroes,
Stock of horses, Cattle, hogs and Sheep, household and other furniture, tools
and all other property whatsoever under her Controls and management, to be
kept together on the plantation and the proffits of the Same to be applied to
her use, the use of the plantation and to the raising and educating of my
Children, and at the time that each of my Children becomes of Age or So Soon
thereafter as said child may wish, for her my loving wife Mary to set apart
a portion of land one horse, one Gun, and two or threenegroes and such other
property as she may think proper, to be appraised and delivered to one so
claiming to his use and benefit. And after the death of my loving wife for
all the remainder of property to be equally-- divided (Counting first the
amount that each received according to appraisement when he became of age)
betwen my Children, And I do hereby appoint my loving wife Mary A McWhite
and my Son G. W. McWhite Executrix and Executor of this my last will and
