Whereas Ignatius Flowers & Amelia Chisholm made suit to me to grant tham letters of administration of the estate and effects which were of John Chisholm late of Marion District Decd.
These are to cite and admonish all and singular the kindred and creditors of the said John Chisholm late deceased; that they be and appear before me, in the Court of Ordinary, to be held at Marion Court-House on Friday next, after publication hereof, to shew cause, if any they have, why the said administration should not be granted.

Know all Men by these Presents, that we Amelia Chisholm, Ignatius Flowers, Malcom McSwain & Ephraim Jones are holden and firmly bound unto SAMUEL COOPER, Esq. Ordinary for the aforesaid district, in the full and just sum of five thousand - - - Pounds, Sterling Money, to be paid to the said Samuel Cooper, or to his Successors, Ordinaries of this district, or their certain Attorney of Assigns. To which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, and every of us. Our and every of our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, for the whole, and in the whole, jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents. Sealed with our Seals, and dated the eighteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five and in the thirtieth Year of American Independence.
The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound Amelia Chisholm Admintrx and Ignatius Flowers Administrator of the goods, chattels and credits of John Chisholm late of Little Pee Dee deceased, do make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the said Amelia Chisholm & Ignatius Flowers or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for them and the same so made, do exhibit into the said court of Ordinary, when they shall be thereunto required, and such of their actings and doings therein, when required by the said court; and all the rest of the said goods, chattels and credits which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said administration, the same being first allowed by the said court, shall deliver and pay unto such persons respectively as are entitled to the same by law; and if it shall hereafter appear, that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased, and the same be proved in court, and the executors obtain a certificate of the probate thereof, and the said Amelia Chisholm & Ignatius Flowers do in such case, if required, render and deliver up the said letters of administration, then this obligation to be void, or else to remain in full force.

These are to authorize and empower you, or any three or four of you, whose names are hereunto written, to repair to all such parts and places within this State, as you shall be directed unto by Amelia Chisholm administratrix and Ignatius Flowers administrator of all and Signular the Goods and Chattels Rights and Credits which were of John Chisholm late of the said district, deceased, wheresoever any goods and chattels of the said deceased are, or may remain within the said parts and places, and which shall be shewn unto you by the said Amelia Chisholm & Ignatius Flowers on or before the twenty fifth day of December now next ensuing.

MEMORANDUM
THIS Seventeenth day of December 1805 personally appeared before me Henry Brassell one of the Justices assigned to keep the peace, in Marion District, Philip Bethia Ephraim Jones and George Traweek being three of the appraisers appointed to appraise the Goods and Chattels of John Chisholm late of Said District deceased, as shall be produced by Amelia Chisholm and Ignatius Flowers Admtn of the estate of the said John Chisholm deceased; and that they would return the same certified under their hands, unto the said office of Ordinary within the time prescribed by law.

I understand that Mr. Thos Harly and Mr. Archibald Shaw have wrote to you that I declined being Mr. Ignatius Flower's Security any longer which if they have done so it is an absolute falocity for I am not uneasy about it. For Mr. Flowers has done nothing contrary to Law as I have seen or found out.

Whereas Flora McSwain hath this Day petitioned the Court of Ordinary that She may be relieved from the Securetyship of Her Husband Malcom McSwain Decd in the Case of the admenestration on the Estate of John Chisholm Decd and showing Cause for Said petition. You and Each of you to be and appear at a Court of Ordinary to be holden at Marion Court House on this third Fryday in July next then and there to shew cause why the said petioner should not be relieved from the said Securetyship and why other may not be required. Given under my hand and seal this twentyfourth day of June 1809.

Know all men by these presents that we Uriah Flowers, Merideth Watson & Amelia Chisholm are holden & firmly bound unto Thomas Harllee Esquire Ordinary for the aforesaid District in the full and Just Sum of one thousand Pounds Sterling money to be paid to the said Thomas Harllee or to his successers Ordinaries for this District or their certain attorney or assigns. To which payment will and truly to be made we bind ourselves and every of us our and every of our Heirs Executors and administrators for the whole and in the whole Jointly and Severally, firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and dated the 7th Day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten and in the Thirty fourth year of American Independence.
The Condition of the above obligation is such That if the above bound Uriah Flowers and Amelea Chisholm admor & admix of the Goods Chattels and Credits of John Chisholm deceased do make a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goods Chattels and Credits of the Said deceased which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of the Said Uriah Flowers administrator and Amelia Chisholm administratrix or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for them and the same so made do Exhibit into the Said Court of Ordinary when thay shall be thereunto required and such goods, chattels and credits do well and truly administer according to law and do make a true and Just account of these proceedings actings and doing therein when required by the said Court and all the rest of the said Goods, Chattels and Credits which shall be found remaining on the account of said administration the same being first allowed by said Court shall deliver and pay unto such persons respectively as are entitled to the same by law and if it shll hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by said deceased and the same be proved in the Court and the Executors obtain a certificate of the probate thereof and the said Uriah Flowers and Amelea Chisholm do in such case if required render and deliver up the said letters of administration then this obligation be void or else to remain in full force.
