State of South Carolina ) In the name of God Amen I Eli Rogers of the
            Marion District ) District and State Aforsaid Being of Sound and dispofing mind & memory but weak in body. And Calling to mind the uncertainty of life And being desirous to dispofe of all such wordly Estate as it hath pleafed. God to blefs me with do make and ordain this my last. Will. In manner foleowing That is to Say.

Item 1st. I Will And bequeath to my dear beloved wife Elizabeth Rogers all my Personal Estate (Viz) Jo, Grace, Abram, Dafna, Mingo, Dinah, Fornifs Eliza & Jim And their future increafe. Abram I hold under Mortgage until Such time as Certain Monies Shall be replaced And if replaced Shall Go to the benefit of sd wife Together with my Stock of Horses Cattle Sheep Etc. Also all my Lands Except the lands that shall be hereafter willed off or Deeded Together with my crop plantation Tools Houfehold And Kitchen furniture which my sd wife is to be in pofsefsion of during her Life time. And. at. her my sd Wifes deceafe all my Personal Estate I wish Equally divided between the whole of my Heirs After a deduction of what they hath Severally Received from each one; particular Share as a Statement of each One so Received Shall be hereafter Annexed so As to be included in each One; Share the Lands that I leave to my sd Wife at her deceafe I Wish Equally divided between my Three younger daughters (Vis) Ruth Rachel & Elizabeth to Them And their Heirs forever

Item 2nd. I will unto my Son Robert Rogers a certain piece or parcel of land Containing Two Hundred and Fifty Acres More or Lefs Situate as foleows That is to say all the Lands that I am intitled to On the North Side of Little Reedy Creek and Marion Road to Peter Johnson Line that is above sd road

3d I will unto my son in law John Clark a certain dividend or parcel of Land Containing Two Hundred and Fifty Acres more or Lefs Situate as foleows Beginning at Robert Rogers’ Corner at or near Little Reedy creek Bridge in Run of sd Creek Running down sd Run of creek Until it intersects the Mouth of a Branch Just above the macWilliams old field Thence a Strait Line Running with sd Branch until it Intersects the back Line thence along the back Line to the Marion road Thence along sd Road to the beginning His Heirs and afsigns forever

4th. I will unto my Son in Law, Bryant H. Bafs a certain piece or plantation of Land Containing Two Hundred and Fifty Acres more or Lefs Situate as foleows Beginning at sd Clark’s Corner running the Run of sd Creek to John Rogers line opofite the mouth of the Big Branch so Called Thence Along sd Branch to the Back Line Thence along the Back Line to sd Jn° . Clarks Corner Thence down Clarks Line to the Beginning. Gifts as before recited I wish on Settlement of my Estate to be considered. So as to make an equal devision. Robert. Rogers has had as good as Sixty Dolears. John Clark. The Sum of One Hundred & Ten Dolears. Stephen Rogers Siix Hundred & Ten Dolears. at a moderate calculation. John Rogers One Hundred & Twenty Dolears. Bryant Bafs The Sum of Eighty Dolears. And my defire is also that if either of my daughters Marry: before the death of my sd wife my desire is that my Executors hereafter named Shall be at liberty to give to each one the Amount of One Hundred Dolears worth of property.

And Lastly I do Constitute And appoint my Son in Law Bryant. Bafs and my son John Rogers my Executors of this my Last will And Testament by me (heretofore-struck out) Made in Testimony Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & affixed my Seal This the Twenty Sixth day of September in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred & Twenty Eight And in the Fifty third year of the Sovernty And Independence of the united States of America
