WILL OF PATIENCE ROGERS
In the Name of God, Amen. I Patience Rogers of the State of South Carolina, in the District of Marion Spinster, being in health of Body and of Sound mind, Memory and understanding, Praise be God for the Same, first I recommend my Soul to God who gave it. And also disere that I Shale be decently Buried at the discretion of my Executors.
And I give and bequeath unto my Sister Sarah Waters a young Cow named Fortune with ale its increas, to her own proper use forever,
Also I give and bequeath unto John Thomas Tyler (Son of Francis Tyler) a Heifer Calf Known by the name of Gift with ale its increase to his own proper use forever.
Also I give and bequeath unto Jofee R. Rogers one Dollar to be paid out of my Estate;
Also it is my wile and desire that my personal property, household furniture with the Residue of my Stock of Cattle Shall be Equally divided among My Sons, Joseph R. Rogers, John Rogers, William, S. Rogers and Silas Rogers Share and Share alike.
And I do nominate, Constitute and appoint. My Sons, John Rogers, and Silas Rogers Executors of this my last Wile and Testament, hereby revoking and making Void ale and every other Wile and Wills at any time hertofore by me made, and do declare this to be my last Wile & Testament. In Witnefs whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal this fifth of January in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred & Twenty.
