I, Richard J. Scarborough of the District of Marion and state aforesaid
being of sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding do make, pub-
lish, and declare the following as my last will and testament
First: I, direct all my just debts to be paid
Second, if, I Shall leave a child or children, or the ifsue of of a child
or children surviving me I. order and direct the following dispositun of my
whole estate to wit, The Sum of Five hundred dollars to be annually paid to
my wife Susanah -J. Scarborough during her natural life provided she Shall
remain a widow the said annuity to cease and determine on her marriage, the
rest and residue of my Estate to descend to and vest absolutely in any child
or Children or the ifsue of a deceased Child or Children which .. may leave
living at the time of my death - to be divided among them if more than one or
as to Set off to the ifsue of a deceased Child the Share the Parent would
have been entitled to if living
Thirdly. If at the time of my decease I. Shall leave no child, children, or
their ifsue surviving me as provided in the second clause of this my will then
I order and direct my whole estate after the payment of my just debts to be
equally divided among and between the following Persons, to wit, my wife
Susanah J. Scarborough, David S. Henry, John H. Walsh, Adisen Walsh, and
Sarah Walsh, the Share of each to vest in him or her absolutely and forever.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this the day
of in the year of our. Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three
