WILL OF
AUSTIN STONE, SR.
In the name of God Amen this Sixth day april one thousand
Eight hundred & Eighteen I Austin Stone senior of Marion
district South Carolina being in perfect mind & memory
knowing that it is appointed for man once to die do make
& ordain this my last will & testament in manner follow-
ing (Vis) first of all I give my soul into the hands of
Almighty god that gave it & my body to the ground to be
buried in a Christian manner at the discretion of my Execu-
tors hereafter named and my worldly Estate I Give divise &
dispose of in manner following (Viz) I give & bequeath to my
son Philip Stone and Daughter Rachel Eaddy their heirs and
afsigns forever, Two hundred & sixty six acres to be equally
divided between them the ad. land is part of a tract of Eight
hundred acres in williamsburgh district in the fork of Lyches
lake and lynces creek. I Give & bequeath to my son Austin
Stone a certain tract of one hundred acres on lynches Creek
Joining the land that I now live on I lend unto my beloved wife
Elizabeth the plantation and tract of land I now live on containg
four hundred and fifty acres with all my personal estate dur-
ing her widowhood, or Natural life but at her death or if she
shoud marry again the said tract of four hundred & fifty acres
to be Equally divided between my son Samuel E Stone Given him
first choise Henry Stone second. Francis Bartell & Lydda Hanna,
& the whole of my personal property that I lend to my wife be
Sold the money Collected a Equal division made between my Ten
living children, or thir heirs, if dead, of thir Share that that
father or mother would have heired if living and my grandson
Austin Stone Profser have an Equal part with the said ten Chil-
dren (viz) Dottson Stone Martha Eaddy Austin Stone Phillip
Stone Samuel E. Stone Nany [?] Stone Francis Bartell Lydda Hanna
Rachel Eaddy Senca Stone, and my wife Elizabeth if she marrys
the remaing tracts of land in Marion (Viz) one on lynches creek &
Smiths and remaing tract of Eight hundred and thirty three acres
being part of a tract Coveyed from william stone to me the said

Austin Stone be sold and Equal division be made betwen my
aforesaid Children/Whenconvenient after my death I make and or-
dain Constitute and appoint my Soninlaw Henry Eaddy and my
son Dottson Stone my whole and sole Executors of this my
last will and Testament disannulling & Revokeing all other
wills by me made In witnefs hereof I have hereunto set my
hand and affixd my seal the day and year above writen
