The State of South Carolina ) In the name of god. amen. I.
Marion. District.- - - - - ) Joshua. Summerford farmer
being indesposed in body but thanks be. to God. in my per-
fect. senses and of a sound Mind well. seeing hearing and
speaking and Knowing there is nothing more Certain than
death I. therefore have made and Constituted this my Last
Will. and testament in the manner form and ways following
that is to say that my body be. decently Buried at thee,
discretion of my. Executors hereafter named and as touching
the disposition of all. sutch temporal Estate as it pleased
the Almighty. God. to bestow upon me I-Give and dispose
thereof as follows first of all I will that my debts and
funeral. Charges. shall be-paid and-discharged. Item. 1st--
my mind and will is that. I. give to my well. beloved wife
Nancy summerford During. her Natural lifetime, or Widowhood,
three hundred and seventy five Acres of Land also. . two
horse kine also. all my. stock of Cattle also all. my. stock
of hogs, all.my household furniture And working tools also.
my. Corn and Bacon, and Last. of all. I. Do hereby Nominate
appoint and Constitute My. Beloved wife Nancy summerford
heretofore named and John Meggs to be. my whole. Executrx.
and Executors,of. this my. Last will and Testament hoping
that. they will be. do. or. Cause. to be done and Executed
evry Article part or. Clause herein Mentioned according to
the true Intent. and Meaning thereof and I. do revoke Dis-
annul and make void all other wils. and testaments by me.
