WILL OF JACOB YELVENTON
In the name of god amen I jacob Yelventon of the State of South Carolina in
Liberity County Being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and
Memory thanks be given unto god Calling unto mind the mortality of my body
and knowing that its is apointed for all men Once to die do make and ordain
this my Last will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all
I give and Reccomend my Soul into the hand of almighty god that gave it and
my Body I Reccomend to Earth to be Buried in a decent Christian Burial at the
Discretion of my executores nothing Doubting but at the general Resurrection
I shall Receive the same again by the mighty Power of god and as touching Such
Worldly Estate where with it hath pleased god to blefs me in this Life I give
devise and Dispofe of the Same in the following manner and form
First I give and Bequeath to my beloved Son Shaderick yelventon one young Bay
mare now in the pursesion of Jofeph Page also I give to my Beloved Son Gedian
yelvento all the money I have By me and Due to me and two three year old Steers
and all my wareing Cloths also I Give to my Beloved Son Zado yelventon one
feather Bed and all the furnetur to it Belonging and all my Carpanders tools
and one gang of hogs Containing 2 sows and 11 pigs and 6 yearold and one grine
Stone and three Quart Basons also give and Lend to my Beloved Dafter Unity Green
all my Land Dureing her Life and then to her Dafter Eady Green and her ares
Lawfully Begoten of her Body and if She Should Dy with out any heir it is to
Return to my son Zadoo yelventon and his heirs also I give to my Dafter
unity Green one one feather Bed and furneture and all the Remaining part of my
Hogs and all my Sheep that is in the Cear of Cear of thomas ard and all the
Cattle in the Cear of John Barfoot also my Rideing mare Sadle and Bridle and if
with fould now the Colt is to bee my Gransons Gidian yelventons also I give to
my Dafter unity Green two Cows and Calves of my home Stock and all the
Remaining part of my house hould goods and all my working tools and all the
Remianing part of my Cattle I give to my Beloved Dafter Reese Wilkeson also I
give to my Granson Jefse yelventon that Stock of Sheep in the hand of John Barfoot
also I make my son Zadoo yelventon and Jofiah Davis whom I likewis Constitute
make and ordain the Sole Excouters of this my Last will and testement and I Do
hereby uterly Disallow Revoke and Disanul all and Every other former testements
wills Legacies Bequests and Executors by me in any ways Before named willed and
bequeathed Rattifying and Confirming this and no Other to be my Last will and
testement in witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Eighth
Day of July one thousand Eight hundred
