The following items are all handwritten entries in a Crosland Bible in the Caroliniana Library in Columbia, South Carolina. Considering that most of them pertain to Matilda McLauchlin and Philip E. Crosland’s children, it’s possible that some ntries were made by Matilda McLauchlin Crosland. If so, I feel that Catherine Crosland McInnis continued keeping the Bible. Or it could have been Catherine Crosland McInnis' Bible. (Some items are entered more than once, which look like children’s writings.)

Was married to Philip E. Crosland April 13th 1824 and died September 24th 1866 Alexander son of Philip E. & Matilda Crosland was born Feb 17th 1825 and was married to Mrs. N. B. Shields May 1852 Kate, daughter of the same, was born November 9th, 1826 and was married to Mr. S. J. McInnis Nov 12th 1868 Isabella, daughter of the same, was born May 6th 1830 and was married to Mr. J. W. McLeod November 23 1853 Ann E., daughter of the same, was born February 19th 1832 and died Nov 1st 1861.
