Murchison-Jackson Cemetery

Please note that this cemetery is included in the 1984 Marlboro County Cemetery book and the compilers for that survey added the following information:

"(Note by compilers: We were told that a section of this cemetery was destroyed by a forest fire. About twenty-five wooden markers, many of them for members of the McRae family, were burned.)"

Take Hwy. 9 to Clio; right on Hwy. 381; left at S35-19; right at S35-40; go 1 mile to 1st dirt road; right turn; right again at house on end of road; on dirt road which goes near cemetery beyond field.
