William Mixson Deed to Samuel Burkett 1789

THIS INDENTURE Made this 13th Day of February in Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty Nine BETWEEN William Mixson of the State of S Carolina and County of Marlborough of the One Part and Samuel Burkett of the State aforesaid and County of Marlborough of the Other Part WITNESSETH that that the Said Wm Mixons for and in Consideration of the Sum of Twenty five pound Sterling paid the said William Mixson before the Sealing and Delivering of these Presents the Receipt whereof the Said Wm Mixson Doth hereby fully con__ Acknowledge And therefore hath granted Bargained Sold Alined Enfeoffed Conveyed and Confirmed unto the Said Samuel Burkitt and by these Presents now dow Bargain Sell Alian Convey and Confirm unto Him his Haires Exec. Adm. and Afsigns for Ever a Barten Track Containing One hundred Acres of Land in the fork of Muddy Creek and Noth Est Side of Grate Pee Dee River being Part of a survey of a hundred and fifty Acres Surveyd for Wm Mixson the 7th Day of Octobr 1784 Situated in the Cheraw District and being the Lower Part of the said Survey Next toward John Cox and Devided by a line Running as the Deviding fence Between Burket and said Mixson and Granted to William Mixson by his Excellency Wm Moulton Esqr Governor of South Carolina the fifth Day of June in One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty Six and having Such Shapes Forms and Marks as Appears by a Plat thereof to the Said Grant Annexed TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the aforesaid Plantation or Track of One hundred Acres of Lan TOGETHER with all and Singular the Rights Titles Privleges and Improvements and Appertainanceys Whatsoever there unto belonging or in any wise Appertaining unto the Said Samuel Burkett his Heirs Exers Administors doth Convenant Promise and agree To and with the Said Samuel Burkett his Hairs Exeutors Admistrators and Afsigns that the Rights and Titles of Said Land and Premises against all and Every Person or Persons Whatsoever Claiming or that hereafter May Claim By the Through from or Under him the Said Wm Mixson his his hairs Executors Administrators or Afsings and from all and Every other Person Claiming or Pretending to Claim any Right thereto He the Said Wm Mixson with for Ever Warrant and Defend it by these Present IN WITNESS whereof I the Said Wm Mixson hath hereunto Set my hand and affixed my seal this 18th Day of febuary 1789 and in the Twelfth Year of our Independency
