Mrs P L Breeden

Bennettsville, April 11—(Special)—Funeral services for Mrs Marguerite C Breeden, wife of P L Breeden, who died at 1:30 this morning in the local hospital, will be held at 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the home. The Rev E E Dunbar, pastor of the Methodist church will be assisted by the Rev J E Clark of Florence, former pastor, in officiating.

Mrs Breeden has been in failing health for some time and had been a patient in the hospital for two weeks. She was the daughter of Henrietta Breeden Crosland and the late C B Crosland. Mrs Breeden, a native and lifelong resident of Bennettsville, was actively interested in religious and civic affairs. She will be greatly missed in the community.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Pfc Joe Breeden of the Marines, who was wounded on Iwo Jima, is in a hospital in the Pacific, and Pfc Pete Breeden, Jr., who was wounded in Germany with the Ninth army.
